We ask the following of you:
Please stay home if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or feel unwell
Thoroughly wash or disinfect hands often
Maintain a minimum 6-feet distance from others
Limit person-to-person contact
Please stay home if you have travelled outside the country within the last 14 days
Exercise personal responsibility
Before coming to the studio, ask yourself:
Do I have a fever?
Do I have a dry cough?
Do I have a sore throat or runny nose?
Have I, or anyone I have come into contact with, travelled on commercial transportation domestically or internationally in the last 14 days?
Do I live with someone, or have come into contact with someone who is sick or quarantined?
If yes to any of the above, call and cancel the registration of your class, stay home and consult your physician.
What to expect during in-person classes:
Save Your Spot –
Spots for in-person classes will be limited. Students are required to pre-register to book their class using Schedulicity at least 24 hours before the class. No Drop-Ins at this time. Due to limited capacity, cancellations must be made 3 hours before the class, so that other students can book. No show up or last-minute cancellation, will be counted as a class. Registration will close 1 hour before class. No last-minute sign-ups.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Students MUST wear their masks upon checking into the studio, and in the studio. Students may only remove their masks once instructor ask to do so. Instructor will let you know when to put your mask back on. Students must sanitize their hands upon entering the studio using the touch-free hand sanitizer available in the studio. Touch-free temperature checks will also be requested of students upon arrival.
Upon check in, students will receive a number that corresponds to a space in the studio. This way students will enter and sit in numerical order, limiting contact within the studio space. Students must maintain a 6-foot distance, and are required to place their mats 6-feet distance from one another (there will be mark to indicate specific areas where mats will be placed).
When entering and exiting the studio, students must respect each other’s space and keep 6 feet distance. The instructor will explain the flow before entering/exiting class.
Bring Your Own Props:
Yoga Mats, bolsters, blocks, and straps will no longer be provided. Please bring your own props. Rental mats will not be provided. No physical touch of any kind, including physical adjustments will be made.
Bathroom, change rooms, Water Dispenser and Garbage Bins will no longer be available for use – PLEASE COME READY. Please leave your personal belongings either at home or in your car. TRAVEL LIGHT in the studio, as you will be keeping your belongings with you.
We will be sanitizing the entire studio after each class. Studio will be closed Friday’s for deep cleaning.
Please call/text before or after class to talk about any questions/concerns. Instructors WILL NOT be able to stay back to answer questions after class due to cleaning times to ensure health and safety for everyone.
BE ON TIME
Students are requested to be in class, on their mats, and prepared to practice 5-minutes before start time. This will help ensure that classes start on time and make it such that you are relaxed and ready. Please respect your fellow students and instructors in all classes by being on time. Traditionally, instructors do not permit latecomers as it disrupts the flow of the class and practice of other students who make effort to be on time.
BEST HYGIENE PRACTICES
Saucha, or Cleanliness is one of the main yoga values we embrace. For the sake of everyone around you, bathe before coming to class, wear deodorant and clean your mat – often. Please clean it thoroughly after class with the towel and the Mat Cleaner provided in class. Yoga is a Prayer. Personal hygiene is an integral part of practicing yoga. Further, avoid heavy fragrances.
You must respect silence within the practice room. The practice space is used to center oneself, meditate, and escape the chaos of daily life. Use the time, to prepare for your class by doing some stretches, meditation or take a resting pose until class is about to start.
Leave everything behind
Please remove your jacket, shoes and socks at the entrance. Yoga is practiced in bare feet. Some people are allergic to the dust. Please leave any jewellery/valuable at home.
